Anti-spam policy
We don't do spam, and nobody does it for us
We build the systems that send email for a living, so we know exactly how easy it is to do it badly. We've decided not to. Here's the line we hold, and what to do if you think someone's crossed it.
Our websites won't be advertised with spam
Little Ridge doesn't permit littleridge.co.uk, or any other website or domain we control, to be promoted using unsolicited messages. That includes bulk email, scraped lists and anything else sent to people who never asked to hear from us.
That applies to anyone acting for us
Employees, contractors, affiliates, partners and any third party working on our behalf are held to the same line. No unsolicited bulk or commercial email to promote our sites, no exceptions and no quiet workarounds.
Email marketing has to be done properly
Any email marketing carried out on our behalf must meet UK electronic marketing and data protection requirements, and it must match how we run marketing ourselves: permission first, clear sender details, an easy way out.
If you think we've got it wrong, tell us
If you believe one of our domains has been promoted through unsolicited email, we want to know. We'll look into it, and if someone's been sending on our behalf without permission, we'll stop it.
Report it
Send us the email, including headers if you can get them, and we'll take it from there.
