What we know
Tools we've used properly, not just watched a demo of.
Anyone can list logos. Here's the same list with an honest opinion attached to each one, because knowing when not to use something is the useful part.
Email & SMS
Instiller
Instiller is built for people who send a lot of email and care about it arriving. It's less flashy than the consumer tools and considerably more serious about deliverability.
What it's good at
- High volume sending with proper control over how it goes out
- Agencies and teams running email for multiple brands
- Deliverability tooling that treats reputation as the main event
- Reporting detailed enough to diagnose a problem, not just admire it
Where it gets awkward
- Less well known, so fewer off-the-shelf integrations
- Not aimed at someone sending one newsletter a month
- Expects you to understand authentication and sending practice
- Templates need building properly rather than dragged together
Our experience with it
We've worked on high volume email programmes where arriving in the inbox is the whole game. That means authentication, list hygiene, sensible warm-up and resisting the urge to send more.
Things we've built or connected
Sending setups with authentication configured properly from day one
Data feeds keeping audiences accurate without manual uploads
Reporting that shows deliverability, not just opens
Usually in the same conversation
