What we know
Tools we've used properly, not just watched a demo of.
Anyone can list logos. Here's the same list with an honest opinion attached to each one, because knowing when not to use something is the useful part.
Email & SMS
Klaviyo
If you sell online, Klaviyo earns its keep. It knows what people bought, what they nearly bought, and what they're likely to want next, and it lets you act on that without much fuss.
What it's good at
- Deep ecommerce data driving genuinely relevant sends
- Abandoned basket, browse and post-purchase flows out of the box
- Revenue attribution that shows what a flow is actually worth
- Email and SMS working together on the same profile
Where it gets awkward
- Pricing scales with profiles and sends, so it gets pricey
- Overkill if you're not selling products online
- Easy to over-send and quietly burn your list
- Flow sprawl if nobody reviews what's still running
Our experience with it
We build the flows that matter first, then measure honestly. If a sequence isn't earning its place, we'd rather switch it off than add another one on top.
Things we've built or connected
Lifecycle flows built around what customers actually do
Segments that stop the same people getting everything
Store data joined up with the wider CRM picture
